Terms for using the service Oslo Bike Rental AS
Oslo Bike Rental AS, Rosenholmveien 25, 1414 Trollåsen, org no. 935 566843 MVA, runs a rental service where companies and consumers can rent equipment for common benefit by ordering the equipment online and pick it up and deliver it in a convenience store or kiosk or by home delivery. The service also includes membership offers where those who need equipment receive benefits a little more often.
These terms apply to the rental and sale of goods and services from www.oslobikerental.no to companies and consumers. The terms, together with your order, will constitute an overall contractual basis for the purchase.
2 Definition of parties
Landlord or seller is: Oslo Bike Rental AS and is hereinafter referred to as we, us, landlord or Oslo Bike Rental AS.
Tenant is: the person who is stated as a tenant or buyer in the order, and is hereinafter referred to as the tenant, the customer, you, you, yours or yours.
Renting objects involves tools, equipment, machines and everything else that is rented out on oslobikerental.no
By form of delivery / service points is meant delivery or delivery in a shop, kiosk or home delivery
3 Payment, deposit and prices
Payment is made via Visa or Mastercard card online via our payment form divider Stripe, which meets the strictest security requirements. The tenant pays when ordering and then the lease is realized as entered into.
Oslo Bike Rental AS follows normal rental practices and also reserves a deposit amount as stated on the order receipt when ordering. Reservation ensures if the customer returns the tool late, damages the tool or does not deliver at all. The size of the deposit varies with the selected equipment that is rented and appears on your order confirmation. Oslo Bike Rental AS has the right to use the deposit to cover rent as well as other costs mentioned above and / or any recourse claims, cf. point 5 below.
All prices include VAT. The total cost of the purchase will appear before ordering and include all expenses associated with rent or purchase. If there have been errors with the prices of significant size from Oslo Bike Rental AS’s page on the website, Oslo Bike Rental AS may unilaterally change, delete or reject orders even after the customer has received an order confirmation or similar. However, such errors must be corrected and informed to the customer within a reasonable time after the error is discovered.
4 Condition of the rental object
Oslo Bike Rental AS is committed to delivering high quality rental properties in operational condition. Oslo Bike Rental AS has its own routines that check and maintain the rental objects before and after rental.
During the rental period, you are responsible for any damage or loss to the equipment. Exemption from liability can occur if the damage or loss is due to technical errors or defects. The tenant is therefore obliged to check the rental object before use and contact Oslo Bike Rental AS if the rental object should not be in the expected condition.
All damages, technical errors or accidents that may occur during the rental period must be reported to Oslo Bike Rental AS immediately. We will then do our best to help the tenant. Injuries are reported to email@example.com immediately. This also applies to theft.
If the damage occurs due to incorrect use, intentionality or negligence, Oslo Bike Rental AS will be able to use the pre-reserved deposit and, if necessary, deduct additional outstanding amounts to cover the costs associated with repair, service or replacement of the tool. This also applies if the equipment is returned in the neglected or delivered dirty beyond the normal.
We always strive to provide the best advice and tips for the use of the rental object, but are not responsible for execution or for direct or indirect damage or loss due to the use of the rental object, delays or errors in the rental object.
6 Use of the rental object
Use of rental objects is at your own risk. The person using the equipment must be over 18 years old.
The tenant is responsible for ensuring that equipment and accessories are used in such a way that it is not damaged or unreasonably soiled. Proper and safe use of the equipment is the Tenant’s responsibility. The Landlord facilitates the correct use of the equipment by making available operating instructions, instructions and safety procedures together with the tool and / or on the Landlord’s website. It is the customer’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with the Landlord’s use and safety routines before using the equipment.
We recommend the use of protective equipment. You must also follow the equipment’s instructions for use and other instructions from Oslo Bike Rental AS.
As a general rule, accessories must be purchased or rented separately when ordering the tool and selected according to the task the tenant wishes to perform on the website. The website also describes what is included in the delivery of the rental object. In addition, safety equipment is required in a number of situations and is offered on the website. Accessories that are personal (dust masks etc) or consumables that wear out (saw blades etc) are not rented out. For accessories that are sold and that have not been used, section 12 Angrerett.
8 Tenant’s rights and obligations
The tenant must be 18 years of age and obliged to provide correct customer details when creating a user account in order to be able to order and rent at oslobikerental.no. Oslo Bike Rental AS sends messages by the specified email, address and telephone and such messages are considered received and valid when sent to us.
The user account is personal and if you suspect that others have access to your account, you are obliged to notify Oslo Bike Rental AS immediately. Oslo Bike Rental AS has the right to freely reject, terminate or suspend the user account without notice or liability, including if the terms are considered violated.
Furthermore, these rental terms must be accepted before booking on the website.
The tenant must return the rental object before the agreed date and time expires and on the agreed delivery method. The tenant is expected to stay up to date on the service point’s normal opening hours.
The tenant or cardholder authorizes Oslo Bike Rental AS to make credit card instructions for, among other things, rental objects that are not returned, are dirty beyond normal or in the event of damage to the rental object. The power of attorney thus granted also applies to the authorization to charge the payment card for additional rent / claim for compensation if the rental object is returned after the expiry of the agreed rental period or returned with errors or defects.
Delay with regard to return of the tool beyond 1 – one – hour in relation to the agreed rental period, gives the landlord a claim for one day extra rent and a supplement, currently of 300 kroner, – which covers additional expenses Oslo Bike Rental AS has in case of late submission. If the rental object is not returned after one day, Oslo Bike Rental AS is entitled to be reimbursed the agreed daily price as long as the tool is actually available and has not been returned by the tenant.
9 Change of order
To change orders, Oslo Bike Rental AS must be contacted. The changes will not be valid until they have been confirmed in writing by us. This is to ensure that the rental objects are actually vacant. Unless otherwise agreed and confirmed, the rental object must be returned at the agreed time. Extension of the rental period can take place before the start of the rental period and / or during the rental period by changing the start or end of the rental.
Changes of rental objects that result in the availability of the rental objects for other users may be associated with a change fee to cover the cost of rebooking. The change fee is currently NOK 300. All costs will be reported to the tenant before ordering or changing an order.
Cancellation of booking must be made within 48 hours to receive a full refund.
10 Delivery and return
Delivery and return takes place in the manner, at the place and at the time stated on the order confirmation. You will also find it under your page. We are responsible for the products until they are taken over by you, ie when you have received the products in your possession. In order to receive the rental object, you must have your booking reference. The name you enter on the reservation must match the name on the ID card at collection.
If the delivery of the rental objects is delayed, we will give you information as soon as we know about it, together with information about and possibly when delivery can take place, or if the product (s) is sold out or the rental object (s) is not available.
You are responsible for the product until it is returned to us or our service points.
We check the condition and function of the rental objects and that all parts are present when they arrive at our goods center. Upon complete delivery in contractual condition, the reservation for the deposit on the payment card will be deleted.
Membership gives you the right to reduce prices and other membership benefits. Both private individuals and businesses can be members, but it is the person who is registered who is legally responsible and a party to the agreement.
Membership is automatically renewed until it is terminated by the tenant. It ends on the account page by stopping the subscription. The membership will then expire in the current period and then end.
As a standard, you as a customer approve at checkout that Oslo Bike Rental AS can send you newsletters. If you wish to unsubscribe from the newsletter, this can be done by clicking on "Unsubscribe" in the newsletter.
12 Right of withdrawal on purchase
The Right of Withdrawal Act gives you the right to cancel your purchases. The right of withdrawal applies to goods purchased and not to rental objects. The right of withdrawal presupposes that you notify us of this no later than 14 days after you receive the delivery (See the Right of Withdrawal Act https://lovdata.no/dokument/NL/lov/2014-06-20-27).
13 Intellectual property rights
The content and service are protected by the Copyright Act. Images stored on the site have been obtained with the permission of the rights holders. Videos on youtube are links to third party service outside Oslo Bike Rental AS control.
Oslo Bike Rental AS processes your personal information in a secure data register in order to fulfill its obligations and safeguard its rights according to leases. The personal information that is processed is name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and order history. This history will remain stored for accounting and other obligations. All stored information is available on “My Account”. The tenant has the right to have their personal information removed from the Landlord’s systems, which is done by contacting Oslo Bike Rental AS in person.
Your debit card will be stored as long as you have an active order. The payment card is stored at our payment intermediary Stripe. They store the information in a safe and secure way. Saving debit cards makes it even easier when you shop. You can delete payment cards on your site. Oslo Bike Rental AS does not store credit card details itself.

15 Choice of law
These terms are subject to and shall be interpreted in accordance with Norwegian law. The agreed venue is Oslo District Court.
Oslo Bike Rental AS reserves the right to change or replace these terms at any time. Current terms are always available at oslobikerental.no. If Oslo Bike Rental AS considers that the changes in the terms are significant in relation to the tenant’s rights or obligations, the changes will be made available on oslobikerental.no 30 days before they take effect.
By using the service after the changes in the terms have been made available on oslobikerental.no, you agree to be bound by the updated terms. If you do not want to accept the new terms, you can not use Oslo Bike Rental AS.
